Shake The World (STW) promotes and creates awareness on the untapped potential, talents, and stories of the female crafters in Kwazulu-Natal (KZN). It supports these women by helping them earn a living. Embedded in the stories is the awareness for the Eight Millennium Development Goals. STW is selling beaded bracelets that have a pendant on them. They come with a postcard telling the stories of the women that make the bracelets. There are eight different colours to the bracelets each representing a MDG. By buying these bracelets you are supporting the remarkable mothers of KZN who make the bracelet to earn an income. You also contribute to developing South Africa by helping to achieve the MDG.

Shake The World is empowered by a rural development agency Africa Ignite. Africa Ignite supports and celebrates about 1000 brave, enterprising rural women who live across Kwazulu-Natal in communities ravaged by poverty and HIV/AIDS. STW South Africa is part of the successful global Shake The World campaign raising awareness around the MDG, set by the United Nations in September 2000 for 2015.

We aim to shake the world simply by wearing the bracelets in order to look good, by producing fashionable crafts products.
